Thanks for the info about the results Piotr.
I was struggling to find the full results for the event. All I could find was the main and Co Main.
For some reason BoxRec doesn't recognise the commission from that region of Poland??? Wierd???!!!
Anyway thanks again

@Mikey1903

Some people don't like that PPBD (comission of the event) is basically a private company and is not registered as an association. As a result there's a new comission called PBU. PBU is the only comission that has Boxrec's approval at the moment. There's just one problem. European Boxing Union, which is heavily involved in WBC has a different mindset and fully backs PPBD and refuses to acknowledge PBU.

As a result if you make events in Poland you have two choices. You can either choose PPBD and not be on Boxrec or choose PBU and risk being removed from EBU ranks and not be eligible for European title. Quite a bad situation, isn't it? Unfortunatelly, Boxrec's managment is very stubborn in their decisions and they continue to refuse to acknowledge PPBD, even if it's supported by WBC/EBU.

Thanks for the info.
It is a bit strange. I mean Fight Knight is promoted by Queensbury, 1 of the biggest promotions in Europe!

Sounds similar to something here in the UK. There are fights under the BIBA, (British and Irish Boxing Association). BoxRec does not recognise them either. Also, BoxRec were not recognising events held in Mexico in the summer, well they were but classed them as exhibitions. Even though events were held by Zanfer, the biggest promotion in Mexico, broadcast on ESPN and several World Champions fought!!! Navarrete, Berchelt being the 2 highest profile.

I am guessing that this is also the reason why the last event by MB Promotions, headlined by Kamil Laszczyk has never appeared on BoxRec???

@Mikey1903

Mateusz Borek (MB Promotions) works with PPBD as he didn't want to risk Kamil Laszczyk's position in the EBU rank. Some fighters who fought on PBU cards have been suspened by EBU.

You're right about BiBA. The difference is that dominant UK regulator BBofC has a support of both Boxrec and EBU. Different situation in Poland, though. On the other hand, Boxrec acknowledges both BDB (EBU affiliated) and GBA (not affiliated) in Germany...

As for your other examples. Yes, Boxrec refuses to acknowledge Azteca cards from the COVID era. They selectively don't accept a lot of results from Mexico on the other grounds. They've recently removed all the events by Tanzanian comission because of falsification of results, but some cards they've scrapped really took place. I know of one card from Hungary they didn't accept on undisclosed grounds.

Personally, I don't like their current policies. I don't think it's a job of record keeper to choose which events to record.
