Next for Khamzat Chimaev?

Even though Borz is scheduled to fight Demian Maia mid-November, who should he fight next?

At 170lbs:

• Michel Pereira
• Mike Perry

At 185lbs:

• Derek Brunson

It's only a matter of time until this guy gets derailed, and Maia is a weak fight the UFC is giving him. He hasn't beat anybody in the top 5-10-15-20 even. He's gonna get exposed when he actually steps up and fights a real fighter.

Besides that, I'm still down to see him nail Maia and take his #7 spot. Besides, why is Maia ranked so high when we know he's finished? 

Are you into the Maia fight in November? I know its an easy win for Khamzat but I'm cool with that because it's only a matter a time before the competition stiffens and he has a battle of equals. 

If you don't want the Maia fight - the question remains - who does Khamzat fight next (in your opinion)?

I'm not into him fighting Maia at all, right now I'm trying to come up with someone and it'd probably be a strong striker, BJJ, and wrestler. I will have to think about this one but it seems Maia is his next match up.

He will smash Maia, no doubt. And the fight lacks anticipation BUT it is an important fight TO MAKE because he will take his place in the top 10 (with Maia currently at #7)...

Right now Maia is holding a number (7) at Welterweight and its Khamzats job to meet Maia in the cage to take that number from him.
