i like machida.......i expect him to stay elusive and pick randy apart with counters and leg kicks...........but randy is the master of game plans.......so i wont be surprised if randy gets the W

Probably Machida UD, but Randy has pulled off bigger upsets.

Ive layed a decent chunk of change on Couture to get the upset. If he can get inside on Lyoto and utilize his Greco in the clinch I see Randy being VERY successful in wearing Machida down en route to a Unanimous decision

i just dont see many ways for couture to win. his advantage in the clinch is probably the best method but its far from a riddle. i dont see randy taking machida down enough to win either.

Randy isn't going to chase Machida for 15 minutes like Tito did, so I hope Lyoto has a backup plan.

This will be Randy's retirement fight. I'll eat a hat if machida cannot cope with randy's hugging.

oh and one more thing, how can anyone seriously say machida is way overrated? (@Gooseman in particular). i mean yeah, now after he became champ he's rated highly, but definitely deservingly. machida has flown under the radar for waay to long before he finally got some exposure/respect when KOing thiago silva. he's fought cans? man.. granted, i like machida but its not like im a huge fan and therefore heavily biased; yet, to say he's smashed cans is just WAY off. wouldn't you for example say that machida's recent opponents (t. silva, r. evans and shogun) are significantly better than randy's (toney, coleman, and vera)? you know, i'm not entirely positive machida will win this myself, but your wording .. "extremely overrated" ... "machida smashed a few cans and SUDDENLY he became the big thing" annoys me greatly and reminds me of a place called sherdog.

Randy is going to bed. This is Lyoto's fight to prove a point that he is still a top dog. He won't fight the way he did against Rampage either. I expect Randy to push the pace towards the cage but Lyoto has some great ground game and sumo/judo background. I think he will KO Randy similar to Rashad.

I did pick Randy via decision but really re-thinking this one.  The guy is retiring can't see much motivavtion for him to really do much against Machida.  I agree that Machida can knock Randy out but felt confident that Randy could grind him out on the ground

Machida has this. He's too fast and won't allow Couture to squeeze him against the cage

I got Randy by decision, I think he will control the fight and beat Machida against the fence.
