Prediction: correct Machida   correct KO/TKO   correct Round 2

I find this fight extremely hard to predict for some reason, but going by their recent competition and their age/styles it should be a bit of no brainer.

Randy hasn't even really fought a top light heavyweight since he got KOed by Chuck Liddell back in 2006.  He didn't look too good against Vera.  Vera definitely inflicted more damage in that fight.  He looked good against Mark Coleman, but you gotta wonder how much of that had to do with the fact that Coleman is a shell of his former self.  Randy is a smart guy though and if he wants to fight Machida he's definitely got something planned for him.

Michida on the other hand has consistently been fighting at the very top of the light heavyweight ladder.  He barely lost his fight to Rampage, which even Rampage thought Machida won.  He did get viciously KOed by the current champ, but won the fight before that.  He KOed Rashad Evans which is still Rashad's only loss to date.  He also KOed Thiago Silva before that which no one else has even hurt Silva as far as I can remember.

I think Machida wins this fight by decision with his speed and the fact that he's fighting for his job might even push him to be more aggressive and get the T(KO).

Couture could use his size as an advantage, but I see Machida using his speed and quick strikes to get a safe decision win.

I think Randy might take it.  At nearly fifty he obviously knows what he's capable of, and if he thinks he has Machida figured out, he might just have him figured out.

My heart is sayin randy by dirty boxathon decision, my brain says lyoto tko. I believe this fight will most likely look alot like Randy vs Chuck II and III, with randy closing the distance and trying to punch and smother Machida and Machida, circling, back peddling and countering effectively. On the other hand I heard years ago that Randy wanted to fight Machida, (maybe a rumour as I can't remember the source) this makes me think that he may see a hole in his game that he wishes to exploit. I hope that is the case, if Randy can make one more title run, it would be just one of 100 reasons why he makes almost every other man on the planet look like a lazy *****.

Randy Couture. I noticed judges aren't fans out elusive counterstrikers. That's why Diego beat Kampmann and that's why Rampage beat Machida. I think Randy Couture is going to be aggressor in the fight and grind out a decision.

Prediction: correct Machida   wrong Decision

im really suprised that Coutre is such a heavy dog in this fight, granted Machida has always had excellent wrestling hes never really been a clinch fighter. This will be a grind of a fight and Couture very well has the chops to upset, still Machidas control of distance and take down D will prevail.

Im going with Machida by Decision, But i can also see either Couture winning by Decision or Machida getting a tko/ko sometime in the fight with counter striking.

But im sure Couture will do a great job with his dirty boxing up against the cage and if Machida can stay out of the clinch i think he has a great chance.

I hope Machida comes back strong. But like them both lol
