That's not enough to keep boxing going at the lower levels. Without lower levels it will eventually affect the top. So any way that regional promoters can put on shows I am fully in support of. Including square go's outside the local pub!!! Ha

I'm fully in support of this as well, my last post was just a joke. Plus, imagine if one of these guys on the card becomes a future World Champion. They would be able to say they went from fighting in a car park to packed arena's! True Rocky stuff!

I can juuuuust remember the Gypsy Troupe rolling in to town. Way I remember it they'd usually come in around the time of the Brisbane Exhibition and were either part of/followed in a circus outfit that did animal shows, lions, elephants etc. I suppose it's folded now. Very early 90's.

It will be interesting to see how powerful Perry Howe is. I've got my doubts that he'll find a finish but we just haven't seen enough of him to tell for certain as it's still very early days in his career.
