http://rt.com/sport/monson-moscow-cops-fedor-843/

Apparently he beat up 2 cops who were hassling a drunk guy. This is almost as good as Jon Jones tackling muggers before winning the belt! It also says at the bottom that Monson had a broken leg in the Fedor fight and still kept standing to the end, what a tough sob!

"“All of a sudden, he was shooting for a takedown, and I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re a wrestler now? Remember, I’m the black belt in jiu-jitsu. And you’re shooting on me now? This is a wrap." - Nate Diaz"

This story makes zero sense plus that article reads that his escorts stopped him before beating up the cops. Either way how did he beat up 2 cops in russia and walk away to fight fedor?

I just reread that and your right it doesnt make much sense hard to tell if he did or didn't do it. The title of the article makes it sound like he did lol

Thats ******** media right there, plus a broken leg? The term broken leg can mean so many different things but an actual broken leg would be impossible to remain in a fight. He prolly had a fracture.

Not sure what Jeff says here I have no sound but it says he broke his leg and cause a ruptured tendon?

No matter the article I still think Monson is awesome.

Did he dislocate his patella?  I have done this several times....If he had a broken Femur and a ruptured Patella tendon and kept standing, much less fighting, that makes Monson have a very high pain-tolerance-pride level.

No Cold war. If Monson was older during the cold war it would have stopped sooner. ;)

haha the only way to hassle 2cops in russia and live, is for them to find out that you're fighting Fedor tomorrow. That way, if they try to smash/abduct/kill you, they'd have to do so risking being discovered as the two individuals in russia who ****** up the whole Fedor event. That would lead to an immediate death-squad execution.

That's why his leg was all ****** up, and i would say is a big part as to why he lost that fight.

Monson is a badass though, **** the police

JeffMonson Jeff Monson To dispel the rumors- I didn't beat up 2 Russian cops. Just gave a hand to a homeless guy on metro being harrassed by cops 2 hours ago Favorite Retweet Reply

Yeah that story sounded a bit ********.  I don't think he would have gotten away with beating up 2 cops in Russia without some kind of consequences.  Still love the guy, though.
