Not me, but one of my good friends that I worked with hung out pretty frequently with Deron Winn. And another of my friends who used to fight amateur trained with Winn and couldn't stand him, said he was way too intense in training and went especially hard during sparring with the amateurs.
I've always pulled for him though since he's a local guy

My cousin did coke with Jon Jones at his frat house in Cornell, I don’t know how they ended up alone but Jon turns to my cousin Luke and goes ‘ I can **** you right now and there’s nothing you can do about it’ he than beat DC and the fight was overturned to a no contest

I know a couple amateur guys who got their asses kicked. One boxer buddy went 2-2
And one mma buddy went 0-4

OSP has been to both of the events I fought at (he was actually the cornerman for both of my opponents haha), so I’ve met and talked to him. I also met Scott Holtzman at my first fight. Freddy Assunção was there as well, but I never got to talk to him.

I saw Chris Wiedman one time and he was with stipe and wonderboy so i asked him if he could take a picture of me with them and he said yes. Also i see Gian Villante a lot, he knows me as that guy from Long Beach.

Very cool yeah it is a tough life, especially the less known guys.
Years of work to only find out they are barely world class and can now get beat up live.
Look at Mark Kerr holy **** or Coleman or semi modern Forrest Griffin.

I don't know him, but I went to the same high school as Kyle 'The Monster' Nelson. I also live in the same town, my friend trained with him, went to school with him, and they use to box up at the football field. My other good friend knows him personally. I've never met him, but I root for the guy.
