I would almost argue switching 5 and 6, they called Brunson a gatekeeper but if you beat him you’re in the title picture. Depends on how you define gatekeeper, but usually they are ranked. The contenders are usually are little more loose, I mean with the contender series and all, I’d say Suga Sean is a contender but hasn’t beaten a true gatekeeper yet. I don’t know, I like your list though.

Contenders are usually top ten fighters who do not challenge for a title....guys who fall in the middle of the top 15...like Uriah hall....Brunson is arguably a contender again after defeating Shabazyan

I should have added Prospects to the list because thats what Sean is but for now we can list him as a contender
