I like bocek but i think bendo will avoid subs and keep more of a backed off striking approach and on the ground scramble away.

bendo just has really good defense and i think his flashiness will impress the judges enough to get the nod.

Bendo has shown fantastic sub defense but the fact he gets him self stuck in them makes me weary especially letting a guy like Bocek get a hold of you...if I'm going to change any of my picks for 129 this is the one

Hes shown great sub defense.......against Cerrone. Bocek is an entirely different monster.

This is a rather close matchup in which I believe Bocek has the only serious advantage; jits. Also, Bocek has impressed me several times, e.g. in his fight against Jim Miller. Bocek Sub 2.

Tapology has this fight on the prelims, but UFC.com says it will open the PPV which I think is a great decision. I love watching both of these guys fight. I'm hoping Henderson will protect his neck well enough to deliver some punishment but I have a hard time seeing him finish this one.

Im pumped for this fight, Benson is going to be very hungry since that loss to Showtime. I see Bocek getting a sub though, either from his back, or top position.

If the Mark Bocek who arguably beats Jim Miller shows up, he can beat Ben Henderson. However, given Bendo's submission defense, I think Bocek might have to settle for a more positional game.
