It's a hometown fight for Truax. He's from Minnesota and Tony Grygelko was his promoter. So I think he just wants to get a fight in his home town.
He needs to get back on track after losing the World title, he surprisingly won! And that last fight vs Quillin that was ended due to a cut from a clash of heads in round 1!!!! I think he just wants to get a fight in.
Even this event has gad to rebooked! It was originally meant to take placein December but something went wrong? Nos it's end of this month. That's why tje picks are locked by the way. Because the original date passed. I've just went to get that fixed so the picks should be open again soon

Caleb Truax, DEC
If this fight is taking place at Super Middleweight, maaaan talk about a serious advantage for Truax. I thought this fight was kinda ridiculous at first, but then I started digging into it a little more. Geeeeez. We all know about Truax. I'm sure nobody's real familiar with David Basajjamivule. Wellllll he is a natural Light-Heavyweight. Tho his last fight was up a division at Cruiserweight. This will be his 1st fight in quite awhile, since June 2017. He hasn't won a fight since April 2016, and maybe the most important stat, if this fight is contested at 168lbs, then it'll be Basajjamivule's first fight at Super Middleweight since March of 2012. Nearly 8 years ago. That's huuuuuge for me, especially when his last fight 1½ years ago, he had an additional 32lbs of weight to throw behind his punches.
