This reminds me of the time I saw a dude in a wheelchair get picked up by some guy while another hijacked his wheelchair.

They were all friends though, I think, so it's all good.

when i was in Thailand training before, we went out one night, where later that night i found myself gazing  in awe upward at this 12 story shopping mall.

 On the ground in front of it and me, was this Thai guy, in his 50's id guess, he was sitting on a piece of cardboard begging, but his legs and arms had mostly been cut off, so he was almost just a torso with a head. 

Later i learned that in Thailand, because of extreme poverty, its not uncommon for poverty stricken families to maim their children and send them out to beg ...

@Wasteland ..  As disturbing as that is to hear about families maiming their children and sending them out to beg or panhandle, it doesn't necessarily surprise me. And that's based solely around one thing for me. Desperate People Do Desperate Things. It doesn't get anymore clear than that, and what you said, is a perfect example. It's sad, but it's truth. 

i saw a chinese movie about a crippled girl that got sold to several different people all of whom used her to beg money for them. sad as **** movie ended with the girl being abandoned on a bridge just as it was getting dark.

yeah i don't believe humans in general are as far advanced as we like to pat ourselves on the back for sometimes. Maybe it will just take a long drawn out trickle down effect, but id say groupings of advanced Aliens must observe down here similar to how we observe the animal kingdom or even TV, and must be absolutely stupefied at times. although hopefully they don't judge too harshly, because they likely experience time in a different fashion due to their advanced tech ( time travel, time slow down, warp speed etc etc ) so they know how long it takes for organisms to progress etc. but it kills my vibe sometimes seeing how humans cant get over general barbarism, tribalism / sectarianism and general lower drive impulses and inclinations, it feels to me we are collectively a ways off another Universal Golden Age of peace and harmony ( similar to the pre "Biblical Great Flood" eras ) i mean we still don't even have clean energy hovering vehicles and our main energy source is sucking out fossil fuels and oil ( Earth / Gaia's natural lubricant ) and most ( many ) of us get our rocks off with pure primitive and backward hobbies and interests, not indicitive of a truly advanced and higher consiousness species. Maybe im being harsh, but i mean, didn't Nikola Tesla come up with tech that would have ushered in a new Universal Golden Age fast ?.. but he was savaged and his works savaged and confiscated also ? .. 3rd time writing this comment, as it didnt save before, but yeah just wanted to say sorry to the advanced Alien lords and teachers out there, hopefully they dont wipe our planet again with a "reset" action again, ie guide a meteor into our planet etc lol i think we as a species can transcend our lower primitive ways and get back to a Unversal Golden Age where barbarism and other lower drive ways take a back seat, (hopefully once and for all times) although hopefully its not like how the Georgia Guidestones describe it though, that sounds kind of scary .. it will take a biblical amount of effort and push either way, lets hope we all make it
