Aldo's takedown defense is underrated and looks really sharp and I believe Chad can't show Jose anything he has not seen before. It won' be a finish but Aldo's striking should mess with Mendes and Mendes will try to press. It'll be like the Florian fight I feel.

Heard alot of people say stuff like that recently and i think its unfair.
Mendez presents and entirely different problem for Aldo.
Where as Faber was willing to stand with Aldo, i think that now Mendez knows just how vicious those leg kicks are he will be relentless with takedown attempts.
I still have Aldo winning, but if Aldo has a bad weight cut like he did against Hominick then i think we could be looking at an upset here

I think this is a tough fight to call. I really don't get why Aldo is getting 84% of the votes. I think it should be closer. Aldo should be the favourite in this one but Mendes has the tools to pull an upset with his wrestling.

@greg i agree with you but since i found out aldo brought in maynard for his wreslting i switched my pick to aldo. If gray has gotten aldos wrestling up enough to defend the odd take down he will take this fight.

Faber and florian struggled. Training with maynard can only improve him. Mendes is gonna bring a great fight either way and i wont be shocked if he wins.
