Cerrone is a more set-up kicks and combo's fighter...we'll see how he handles Nate coming right at him, throwing punches and pressuring him.

@Gregory I agree with you about Cerrone looking sluggish early on in that fight.  I think it may have been jitters being his first fight in the UFC.  Diaz is going to give him all he can handle with the reach advantage but I think Cerrone does enough to pull the fight out.  Either way, I see this one going to the scorecards no matter what because they both like to bang and Diaz doesn't tend to do well when it's in the judges hands.

Cerrone didn't look that great vs Vagner Rocha either...he was a little hesitant in that fight, he better not bring that vs. Nate.

Have you seen his WEC fights?  That was Cerrone bread and butter. The more u got in his face the more he started to whoop ur ass.

That because his opponent was clearly over matched and hesitant.  There no reason to take risk when you are dominating.  If you are judging cerrone based off that outing thinking he going to fight nate that was you are sorely mistaken.

I've seen many of Cerrone's fights, all his UFC and most his WEC fights. I saw him get submitted by Bendo with a guillotine, Nate can catch him. I'm not hating on Cerrone, he's awesome...I just think he hasn't fought anyone more aggressive than him standing, we'll see how he responds.

These guys are a great stylistic fight and could be the best fight tonight. Cerrone has improved so much lately and I am quite confident he can take this. I seen him first when they had the Tapout show picking up and comers ack when Mask was still with us. He fought well against a tough opponent and won by submission and shortly after got into WEC and I seen most of his fights. He is something special and this fight will likely earn him a title shot when he wins.

@gregory this was the most asinine money line in the history of the UFC, this is EXACTLY how I saw the fight going. People were absolutely idiotic in their analysis of this fight. Especially Soccerkick and anyone else who put more than 5000 on Cerrone.

Loved the post fight conference. Cerrone said "I think it was him who said "dont do none of that gay wrestling ****"". Everyone laughed. Except Johny Hendricks, the wrestler, he looked maaadddddd.

those were punches in bunches, i can't wait to see the total strikes landed...  anyone have a guess on how many time cowboy's face was hit?  I had Nate winning the fight but didn't have any idea it would be that lopsided.
