Trevor Smith is 8 - 1
Two good records! But does this tell the whole story? I analyzed each fighter's opponent's records. Did one of the two fighters above beat a stud or a white belt? I'll present the data and you be the judge. First, I'll tell you what I did and how I came up with the figures. I took each opponent's record and added the total wins and losses, before they fought Smith or Cook and their current record as of today. However, I was unable to find any information on one of Trevor Smith's opponents; Wes Swafford. He wasn't listed on any well-known mma site. If someone knows his record and can validate it, let me know. Another thing to note, TJ Cook has had 4 title fights and still currently holds two of them. Yes I am a TJ Cook fan, but look at the stats. TJ has fought tougher opponents with more impressive records than Trevor Smith has. You be the judge......

Mr. Gregory..... We'll have to ask him. There was a point and time where Cookie Monster was in the dialogue but it never really stuck. TJ Cook seems to work well for him.

@thiagosilva..... What fan?? I never said it could predict an outcome. However, it certainly offers little insight on the history of the fighters and the probability of Cook victory.
