Yea...incredibly sad. IF Cowboy can drain himself enough to make 155 again, he'll get KO'd stiff within the first exchange. Conor would murder Cerrone.

I don't think him making weight would be an issue. Lots of time between now and then.
As far as skill is concerned we can all agree cowboy is the more skilled fighter. No?
And khabib vs tony is a more important fight then a conor khabib rematch. Spider silva and woodley and gsp are all too big for conor. Nate diaz is a mess pretending he won both conor fights so he doesn't want a trilogy match( shows how ****en stupid nate is ) whose left for him and his big money fights. Gaethje i beleave is booked. Lee and iaquinta are booked. Alvarez is gone. He's not going back down to feather weight anytime soon. So who does he fight? Cowboy is perfect for the fans but not for conor he was in fact offered to fight cowboy or nate diaz way back when they did conor diaz 1 and he chose nate cause cowboy is a real fighter and nate is a stupid thug.

Cerrone v McGregor would be a decent fight for McGregor to pick up a rebound W against an opponent who has a recognizable name. It's MMA and anything can happen but odds are McGregor KOs Cerrone in the first or second round.

Biggest fight Cowboy could have for sure! And yes that would be basically a perfect comeback fight for Conor. Though, I dont see Conor fighting for awhile again. I hope he fights by March but we'll see. I'd love to see Aldo and Holloway move up to LW. If the Diazs weren't such ******** pieces of worthless crap........Legit the 2 dumbest fighters that have ever lived. Hearing Nate ramble makes LaMotta sound like Martin Luther.

@Bruce I think it's a tossup for GOAT of dumbest fighters ever between Nate Diaz and Koscheck. Some of the **** Josh used to say made me think 'wow, you're basically just meat that makes sounds'....
As for the fight itself, I think it would be competitive if Cerrone went in like he just did, and stay defensive for the first couple of rounds. If he gets finishes it's because he tries to headhunt in the first against excellent strikers and gets blasted.
I'd still pick Conor to win though.
