Ok seriously that's a pretty bad example of a cross. I can tell this guy has MMA adapted Boxing, no real boxing training under his belt.
Firstly, he throws from too far down. Really what a cross is meant to do is be disguised as a jab; it's a fast medium power strike that is best used in close ( if stepping in, it is possible to throw backfoot crosses with power from range, you need to be good however, Mcgregor has a good left cross).
His lead hand is down around his nipples and it should be up at his chin.
Secondly, he's leaning forward into the punch instead of bending his knee, which means he's off balance, and is basically saying 'please kill me with a counter hook from hell'. It also means that the strike isn't being directed downwards ( torque should pull downwards in a cross).
Thirdly, his feet are placed incorrectly, and he doesn't complete the maneuver correctly. See how his foot is arched up at the end of the strike? Wrongo, champ; the ball of the foot should be either back down on the ground or very close to it. and the reason it isn't is because he hasn't pushed back his opposite shoulder far enough. He should be driving from his lat and hips more than the shoulder, but that is just a shoulder/arm punch TBH.
Not really a cross at all. That's more like some kind of hook abomination type thing, really.
