Is this a true superfight since its not in the UFC or is this a legit superfight? Both Mousasi and Macdonald are ranked in the top 5 in the world in their divisions. what do you think and please explain your answer?

Of course it is, Bellator, Strikeforce, WEC and Pride have all had similar superfights.

It's probably the highest level superfight Bellator could put on given their current roster. The size difference in the fight is pretty significant though considering it's a 15lb gab between the two divisions. Really Rory has the talent where he could be the #1 WW on the right day. Mousasi is a perennial top 5 MW so yeah it's a solid superfight though the term itself is little more than a marketing tool. For example IMO Woodley v Kahbib is no more a superfight than Kahbib vs Ferguson or Woodley v. Whitaker is no more a Superfight than Whitaker vs Romero no matter which way they are matched it is between the best figters in the world.
