Sage is so young, but I find it hard to get hyped for him nowadays. He just looks so... Blegh every other fight.
If Ottow gets him to the ground, things will get ugly for him.

Interesting to see Sage moving up when he's undefeated at lightweight and 0-2 as a welterweight in his UFC run. The problem with him is he got to the UFC prematurely. He would benefit a lot more destroying cans in the regionals and building up his skillset.

Northcutt is the biggest hype job on the roster... just a roundly mediocre fighter who will never be champ. He doesnt have enough of the mongrel in him for this game.
Was gifted a decision in his last outing courtesy of Texan home cooking. Ottow isnt a world beater but he doesnt need to be to plant captain pixar on his back and go to work on him.

Huh, dunno what to think. Ottow isn't anything special but Sage looks non-UFC level whenever somebody takes him down, which isn't hard.

If Ottow had better striking I would favor him big time, but the almost every aspect to Ottow's game is also mediocre like Sage's. What Sage has over most people is athleticism and speed. The problem with Sage is he has a hard time putting his skills together, he probably is a better fighter than Ottow and has more potential but given the problems with Sage's style it makes it even.
