Moments ago, Tapology launched its latest site deployment, an awards system that lets you unlock achievements for site activities like accurate fight predictions, rankings building and posting to the forums.  There are dozens of different awards sitting out there for you to earn, and rather than tell you all about them here, you can go check them out directly on the awards page:

You've probably already seen the first of these awards circulating through the system on the home page feed, and as more achievements are unlocked you will increasingly see them displayed on member profiles and on the feed.  The more of them you get, the more your profile will display.

We built this system for one reason: to feed your MMA addictions until we are all helpless junkies. Let us know any feedback you have, whether positive or negative. Also keep in mind that as with any new system there may be glitches along the way; if you see any puhhhleeeaase report them to us using the contact panels in the right sidebar so we can fix them and restore happiness to the kingdom.

it would be good to be yves edwards right now -- he's got the easiest fight he's had in ten years coming up, in my view, and it's in the UFC of all places.

Yankees if you look on any event page, you'll see a link to the leaderboard for that event.  We just added that a day or two ago.

@jeremy yves edwards loses automatically to that bad ass mustache. I'm pretty sure it was featured in "True Grit" and of course, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

I just want to point out an error of mine. I said that I had the highest score for UFC 121 & UFC 122 but it was Pharaoh Ramses who had the highscore for 121. I had it for UFC 122 & UFC 123.

Back to back 122 and 123 is serious picking. Competition level is rising though... leaderboards getting longer. It will be a rare and cool award to unlock.
