picking this one has confused me. initially thought that santiago's 8 sub losses were a red flag, but burnell isn't beating anyone good and his striking is rough. if he doesn't get it down, he's gonna get pieced up.

I'll go with Santiago by decision, but I have to admit I've been going back and forth on this for the same reasons. Burnell can submit Santiago if he gets him down, but considering the level of competition both guys have faced and the experience advantage Santiago has overall and the UFC I had to settle on him. Plus, just surviving as long as he did against a killer in Zabit is worth noting. The guy's tough as nails.
