Is this a battle of the two most disappointing welterweight prospects? Anyway, have to pick Silva because Mein mentally seems like he still wants to retire.

They will both be cut within 1-2 years. Busted prospects.

Prediction: wrong Silva   wrong Decision

This is a tough one, and Mein seems the obvious choice given his chin and his experience. I may yet switch the pick back to him. Silva has had a tough time of things because his button is a kill switch, but the technique is still there, and more importantly the heart and fire is still there. I think all the early finishes he has suffered will probably aide him in this fight, in that he will be more conservative, retaining his gas tank and allowing his will and technique to bear out over the 3 rounds. This is more a pick against Mein than it is a vote of confidence in Silva. Should be a fun one but not fireworks. Also I think the over 1.5 @ 1.72 is value.
