Struve is a lot more to handle than Mark Hunt. I'm a McCorkle fan but I dunno about this matchup.

I'm with you Lettuce, it's hard not to like McCorkle but if Struve comes out hot I think he's going to take this. McCorkle recently did a great interview for the HeavyMMA podcast btw.

this is tough one to call. i was thinking struve would be the clear winner but the more i think about this one the more i doubt myself. if there is going to be an upset at ufc 124 this will be it.

Somewhat shocking to me that this will be Struve's seventh fight in the octagon. He's younger, has more experience, and out ranges a rangy fighter.

Ultimately have to go with Struve. We know he can be knocked out, but we also know he can stand in the pocket and knock you out in return. Whereas we just don't know much about McCorkle. The Mark Hunt win doesn't tell us much about what he's capable of. Struve has been improving and packing on muscle and he seems the safer pick.
