Gonzalez vs. Botelho

Guys don`t sleep on Botelho. I think the Nova Uniao product can and will finish Pearl in Rd2 latest.

Botelho has been inactive, but I believe she's the more proven fighter.

I'll likely pick Botelho just based off the merit of her wins exceeding those of Gonzalez's. 

Even with the ring rust, Botelho should whoop her. 

i want think that gonzalez belongs, but she hasn't beaten anyone even mediocre while poliana is coming out of nova uniao and should be able to neutralize pearl's sub threat.

Gonzalez looked horrible.

Yeah that was pathetic tbh.That's a harsh word to use but she couldn't even at least mix up the td's,it was just crappy double with no level change,push her to the fence and stay bent over carrying all the weight and sometimes going for a horrible high crotch.It's just a terrible position to be in cardio wise it's so taxing and by the time she probably wanted to abandon ship and try something else she was too gassed to do anything but run off her instincts,which is that same **** double but then with worse technique and explosiveness gassing herself even more.

I have watched a bunch of her fights and I thought she was better than that and showed her huge lack of diversity.That was a pathetic performance and tbh I hope she gets cut.She actually looked better in her last fight even though she got finished and I can't say for sure because I can't picture her physique in other fights but I remember thinking she looked in much worse shape than before.

That fight was absolutely pathetic. Gonzalez should be cut after fighting like that.

Yeah, horrible fight and I'm surprised nobody thought to tell Gonzalez it was a bad idea.

The most disappointing thing about Gonzalez's strategy was that there was an avenue in which I could see her winning the fight.

The first 30 seconds she landed 5 leg kicks + a punch to zero output from Botelho. Obviously Botelho won the stand up at the end of the last round but by then Gonzalez was gassed.

I think this is on her team, who devised the strategy and also encouraged her to stick with it.

I think the UFC will give her one more fight but I won't be looking forward to watching it.





 

I agree on the early kicks. I was thinking the same thing.

Like many here, I wouldn't be shocked at all to hear Gonzalez gets cut soon.
