Why do I feel like they are still trying to make Paige Van Zant a thing? Like a Ronda Rousey Thing, and it just ain't happening. It started to happen at 115 then when flat when she started losing. She is definitely small for the 125 division, this may not be a great move for her.

Every loss in Paige's career has come to an elite strawweight, and Eye has looked like complete **** lately. I would pick just about anyone UFC level against her at 135, though she may look better at a new weight class.

PVZ needed a towel to hit 116 in her last fight against Waterson and looked off in that fight...she didn't look good at the weigh-in. Make of that what you will, but she still isn't exactly a massive strawweight. Eye, on the other hand, was tiny at bantamweight and that could explain some of her misfortunes there. This fight is essentially small 135er vs. average 115er...
@Yasdas While Paige has only lost to elite competition, none of her wins are really that impressive either in hindsight. Her biggest win was against Felice Herrig, who seemed to be going through some mental **** at that point of her career and didn't fix it until her win over Curran. At least Eye has a couple of solid victories at a weight class she shouldn't have been in, including an (overturned) win over Kaufman.
