Do or die for Melendez here. He is 1-4 in his last five and desperately needs to perform. Stephens doesn't have it much better at 2-5 in his last seven. This is really a fight to see who will be the more valuable stepping stone in the future.

currently or ever? I argue Rich Franklin is the toughest UFC fighter of all time. The amount of injuries that guy has had and kept fighting, with out anyone even knowing he was injured, is insane. He the only guy, ive ever seen, with a broken arm in a fight, where no one realized it, until the fight was over, and it happen within like the first 50 seconds, of the fight. That's just one example of many.

I know it's been said already, but I think Gilbert's corner bears some responsibility for his leg. There was a point midway through the 2nd where I realized that he had no shot of winning. You can't expect a proven champion like Giblert to stop fighting, so that falls on his corner.
