UFC Prediction Competition

Rules:

This will be a point based competition so everybody can continue to make predictions even if they miss an event or if you get all predictions wrong on a certain week as long as you enter before UFC 213 starts.

The entry deadline will be before before the fight pass prelims start at UFC 213 I won't post times on when that is since we're all in different countries and you guys know fully well when each one starts.

You will try to predict the winner of 3 fights of your choice on each event. (1 event at a time obviously I don't want people posting predictions for the next one before the last one has finished unless they are one day after the other).

This competition will last for 10 events so there is a maximum of 90 points available (nobody will get that).

For every fighter you predict that wins you will get 2 points if they win by decision or 3 points if they win by stoppage to add a twist and encourage people to make different predictions rather than going for a safe bet (that doesn't mean I'm asking you to predict the method of victory just who will win).

A no contest or draw is 0 points so avoid matches where herb dean is the referee. 

In case there are 2 or more people who finish with the same score (unlikely) the winner will be decided by who has predicted more fights that were won by ko/tko or submission.

I will only be running this competition if 6 or more people join. Open to suggestions that would improve on this one as well.

@Spudgreg, just create a competition here and leave it open for anyone to sign up. That way Tapology will take care of all the rules and scoring for you.

Thanks but I would just prefer to do the scoring myself rather than set it up another way. It should be simple enough to keep up with 3 predictions per person

All you need to do is make a couple of predictions each card. Not any specific fights. There are other competitions but they all seem to be elimination ones so if you go wrong in the first week you have to wait till it ends and the next one starts so I prefer this idea. If your in make 4 picks before the Saturdays event I guess. Hopefully a few more join
