This is a great stylistic match up for Anthony. If he can't win this he really should hang them up.

I've seen this referred to as a "tune-up" for Pettis. If anyone believes that, they're out of their ******* mind. This is a legit fight. Jim Miller is not a tune-up for anyone.

If broken Pettis and determined Miller shows up, it's a win for Miller.

But Pettis at 155 should be healthier and beat an older slower version of Miller. Poor guy.

Pettis by KO.

I think Miller is just under that bar where you see "gonna be the GOAT 155er evah" Pettis.

This is Showtimes fight to lose, but I think it will be closer than expected, split call or majority decision maybe.

How is this Pettis' fight to lose?  Pretty sure Miller has been far more successful the past few fights then Pettis

Yeah, but Pettis is a former champ. If Miller loses here, he's still the same high level journeyman he's been for years. If Pettis loses yet again, it makes his career's plunge off a cliff that much worse than it already was. There's definitely more pressure on Pettis to win this.

AnAlias while I totally agree that Pettis has more to lose by losing, I do not think it is "His" fight to win or lose.  I think at this point in their careers Miller is better and I will be surprised if he does not win here.

This is definitely a must win for Pettis. Ever since losing his title he's looked mediocre.

I think he's looked exactly up to par with what he is. Amazing when given space, lacks the know how to succeed when crowded. He's just faced guys who weren't afraid to crowd him.

Just because people made a GOAT out of him based on 2 or 3 great wins doesn't mean he ever was.

He lost to Guida. Split decision over Stephens, then he had the really good Lauzon, Cerrone and Benson fights and arguably lost the first round to Melendez before finishing him.

He's a great fighter but can lose to any top guy on a given day, he has too many weaknesses.

it'd be awesome if pettis could land something flashy. none of his recent losses are anything to be ashamed of and i gotta think that going back up has him motivated. jim is super solid everywhere, i just think he tends to leave openings and pettis is someone who should be able to capitalize.
