Pretty easy call if you ask me.
Also, if I remember correctly, this fight was announced a few days before Ngannou beat Arlovski, so (a) he was already booked at the time (in fact I think he was smack in the middle of fight week for the Arlovski fight) and (b) in order to give it to him at the time you'd have to give a shot to a guy who just beat Anthony Hamilton.
I'm not a JDS fan, but he's paid his dues and deserves this shot. If Ngannou is as good as advertised he'll get his shot, though I have a feeling he gets exposed at the top.
