Decision
Noons better watch out. I am worried about those eyebrows getting busted open by his jab though.

nasty. diaz definitely gets cut up too easily. i think this fight goes similar to the first one, maybe takes a little bit longer.

Round 4
he had surgery that smoothed out the bones over his eye socket and removed a lot of accumulated scar tissue, and hasn't cut as much in fights since then....that being said...KJ is frighteningly accurate...and if you watch that fight, and not jsut the excerpts Strikeforce showed in their little hype video, KJ stuffed the takedowns AND dropped Diaz right on his butt at one point with a punch. say what you will about KJ, but the guy hits and hurts. this is going to be a good fight.

Round 2
i'm not sold on the idea that the surgery to reduce scar tissue above the eyes is even effective. not enough guys have had it for it to be a scientific sampling, but look at marcus davis against nate diaz. he opened up in the first round again. and if i'm not mistaken that has happened to him more than once since the surgery. so i'm not sure nick has any better cut protection than the first noons fight, i think he just may have had success in avoiding getting hit recently.
