It's not even a debate on whether they should or shouldn't be legalized. It absolutely should. Period. End of story. It is a dumb rule that the Athletic Commissions made out of ignorance. The only thing that there should be a debate about legalizing (that to me, shouldn't even be a debate either) is grounded knees to the head of an opponent.

The fighters risk their life every time they step in the cage. Several will undergo shocks and other irreversible wounds. I do not see the interest to make it legal only to increase the violent aspect. I do not believe to have already seen a fight in which "to be forced to create an angle in elbow strike" as caused the defeat.
