Brett Okamoto was confident enough to tweet this one as rumored, so it's going into the system that way.

As soon as Cerrone teased that he has a massive fight to announce, I knew it was Lawler.

Yeah when I heard him on JRE I knew it was Robbie.

I wanted to this to happen. I even asked for it in my post on the "FIghts to make following" thread.

Yeah, it's funny how I was "getting ahead of myself" when I called for the fight to happen the night Cowboy beat Cote 

Lawler by KO.

If this happens it might end Cerrone's run at 170

Worse KO than the RDA fight.

This fight is going to be awesome.

I don't like this matchup that much as you guys :/ Cowboy is one of my favorite fighers but Robbie is a monster in this division and I have big doubts about this fight :(

step-up is too big for Cerreone!

Interesting that Tapology has Cerrone at 67%.I don't think that's a bad thing,when I think about how this fight goes I think about that Jackie Chan meme my head is full of **** lol.Such an interesting fight and one could say it's quite similar in many ways to Condit vs Lawler.I'm pretty sure i'll be taking Lawler KO and all his 5 round experience lately could come into play too.Amazing fight though,one of the coolest match ups I could even think of.

I honestly don't see this going the distance despite a decision possibly being the most likely outcome (or Lawler KO) but with Cerrone's very improved and tricky wrestling he could snatch something up especially if Robby looks to gnp or power up forgetting his back.Unlikely but I could see that happening.The only other way I could see Cerrone finishing is with a head kick or huge knee or something.Lawler does better striking with guys who stay in the pocket,movement and diverse striking seems to get him flustered and gunshy so Cerrone has that going for him.Cerrone just isn't the most durable guy,if Lawler can land some big ones he could pounce for the stoppage.
