Held is one of their best guys and a pretty entertaining fighter. Sure he was a bit one dimensional but he has managed to round out his game a bit.

Daaaaaamn, that's crazy. Held has been in Bellator forever, what is Coker doing? I honestly miss Bjorn at this point.

I think Held opted to take free agency, but I doubt Bellator tried hard to keep him.

Hope UFC signs Held, he's good enough to be there and it might motivate him to continue to improve.

Held would be perfect for a UFC in Europe.

I see Held in the UFC, he is still young as has a lot to do there, many great matchups wait in front of him in the UFC. I will cross my fingers for that

This regime is very dumb. Ok u are not interested on Held. U should have cut him after his loss to Brooks, instead of letting him have the opportunity to avenge a loss, which he did. Anyway, good luck to Marcin sounds like he isn't very far of a possible UFC deal.

I do not understand this decision at all.

UFC should sign Held and put him on the undercard of a Joanna Jedrzejczyk title fight in Europe.

Why did they cut Halsey?  I get cutting Newton, but why Halsey?

Plausible reasons: Halsey is not that young (30),

he's shown little development in his game, and athletic wrestlers tend to degrade as their athleticism degrades if they don't develop a sprawl and brawl style,

he's on a 2 fight losing streak versus decent/OK/not awesome competition at a time when Cokator (Spikeforce?) was giving him a big push,

. . . I don't know, maybe he's no fun to work with?

Totally stretching here.  It is a pretty weird cut, not one that I would make if I was trying to operate an MMA promotion, but this is Bellator.
