Can confirm reports that Kimbo Slice was admitted to a local Fla. hospital. I'm told at this time that he's not in good shape, sadly.

Kimbo Slice was the first MMA fighter I've ever heard of. I never knew an organized sport called mixed martial arts existed until he started fighting MMA. He introduced me to MMA just like how Royce Gracie, Brock Lesnar, or Conor McGregor did to most MMA fans. When Kimbo Slice got beat up by some dude with pink hair in 14 seconds, that was the first MMA fight I've ever saw. If there was no Kimbo Slice, there may not have been a WorstPredictionMan.
People will say that Fedor, Jones, Silva, or GSP is the greatest of all time. But if you ignore wins, belts, or reality, Kimbo Slice is the greatest of all time. Sure, Jon Jones may have a slight advantage over Kimbo in a cage but if you took it outside...
RIP Kimbo Slice. Thanks for being Kimbo Slice.
