Why is i okay for MMA media to just make **** up?

I not sure anyone else finds this, but the MMA media constantly makes **** up that just not true.  For example this article below is promoting woodly for the next shot at Robbie by claiming Condit is injured. That is utter BS, Condit is not injured and is in fact posting videos of him training. In fact there not any rumors at all that he injured and he been asking to fight Robbie.  So is this MMA "journalist" actually do any research before they spout nonsense?

By the way I do not mean all MMA journalist. There are many good ones, but there is an awful amount of bad ones stating pretty much bull face lies. Is it ignorance? or are people just trying to sell articles that badly?

Truth in journalism? Ha!

Ugh. Journalists should aspire to tell the truth. That is LITERALLY Journalism 101 level, and something my professors always preach (and rightfully so). 

@MikeyG Unfortunately, I think you nailed it with the sensationalism. It's why we always see MMA articles that have quotes in the titles that can be very easily misconstrued out of context. There's a lot of clickbait these days, unfortunately. 

Personally, my goal is to provide truthful journalism that can still be fun for readers, which is how I wish most sports journalism was. Emphasis on factual.

Well uhh.....yeah.
