Listening to an interview he gave with Ariel Helwani and am wondering why the hell is he not the face of the UFC and not Dana White? Fertitta stepped back from the casinos and is focusing on the UFC so what the hell!?! He wouldn't rub people the wrong way as much as Dana for sure!

Fans don't want to tune in to Spike TV (soon FX) and watch Lorenzo Fertitta.  They want to watch Dana White... he's a big star.

But if it was Lorenzo on TUF 1 saying "So you want to be a f***ing fighter!?!" you think he'd be the face and not Dana?

Yeah thats true, but calling a female reported a "f***ing c***" doesn't really help when you're still trying to get your sport regulated

@soccer correct, Dana has definitely crossed the line a few times.

I don't think Lorenzo has the natural charisma, or whatever it is, that Dana has. Love or hate Dana white, he's entertaining to watch.

that is what I was going to say @Gregory.  Lorenzo is a great guy, great businessman, but he doesn't have the "it" factor to be a public star.

I'm not saying I don't like Dana, because I do really like a head of a sport coming out and saying exactly what he thinks...Imagine Roger Goodell holding a press conference to say he thinks the Denver Broncos have no idea what they're doing and must want to finish last in the NFL starting Kyle Orton at QB...I'm just saying watching a couple of Lorenzo's interviews lately makes me wonder if the sport would have been further along professionally by now if he were the face instead of the just the money
