@rapp

it clearly went over your head. You run away by instead of countering arguments when someone destroys one of your ridiculous bias statements, you instead repeatedly back peddle to" I was just messing with you" *********, over and over. That is running away. It honestly tiresome how much people have to spell things out for you

I see Diaz getting dropped with a body shot towards the end of the first. He might survive until the second but I'm definitely seeing it happen this way.

There is no way I will ever be able to pick McGregor for any fight.. No matter how over matched his opponent is I wouldn't be able to do it..

@buffaloben

I suppose I'm not entirely familiar with how things work around here, but on most message boards it's normal to entertain conversation in the forums themselves.

I just don't see how you can think a 2 round wrecking machine and a triathlete are going to go to a decision. One way or another someone's getting finished.

Seems perfectly reasonable that a decision may happen. The last time McGregor fought a guy who was taller than him, it went to a decision. Diaz is notoriously hard to finish and being a triathalete is the epitome of being able to go the distance is it not?

Also Diaz, who's a large LW, fighting at WW, we have no idea how McGregor's power will transfer so it's hard to say if he will be able to knock Diaz out for certain, Diaz a guy who Rory MacDonald couldn't come close to putting away, Diaz a guy who ate Melvin Guillards best shots before sinking that guillotine, the only time he was ever TKO/KO'd it took about 3 head kicks from Josh Thomson, contrary to popular belief he landed several solid ones before Diaz finally fell and a one off experience in a nearly 30 fight career isn't some point proving "if Thomson can, Conor can easy bro" validity.

I have Conor winning, I think he gets a knockout late 3rd to mid 4th round by TKO, although it wouldn't surprise me if he did it inside 2, or even 1...I imagine Conor will need an adjustment period to Diaz's long ass reach and constant pressure, taunting at the same time maybe since Diaz will march forward and taunt Conor, he will be presented with a spoil of openings and just blast him out early and easy but I have a hard time seeing that, it would be incredible however.

One last thought, I can't ever really remember anyone trying to work the body against either Diaz brother and Conor is very efficient at it with both punches and kicks so maybe he attacks the body to open up the head to much success, who knows. My body is ready.

@nomeansmoney

I think it is likely that precisely because of their conditioning neither fighter will succumb to each other's onslaughts. I agree that the pace will be high intensity.

I can see that line of reasoning.

But as I see it, either Conor will knock diaz flat or there's a slight possibility hell exhaust himself trying to do so and nate will tag and submit him late.

As conors the most mentally strong fighter I've ever watched and we've never seen him gas my money's on the notorious finding nates chin early.

Gonna be a helluva show regardless of the outcome tho

Franklun, I do not run away. I have other obligations so I cannot go on here all the time. I got you annoyed so yes, I did get to you. Not even intentional but it worked. Arguing on a message board makes me feel so much better about myself and means so much. :-)

Even after I explained it to you, it still went over your head, that is amazing. Man I thought it was mostly an act, but you really are as dumb as a brick.

Also we all get that it bothers you how often you get owned on the boards, you don't have to keep telling us how much you enjoy these repeated spankings.

i think nate will last a little longer than others, but ultimately he's unprepared and handpicked to lose.

Even if unprepared, he can still pull it off if he talks enough sh!t in the fight.
Why you say he is handpicked to lose?

I feel like the odds are fair as they are, based off of how consistent McGregor has been throughout his career.  Diaz on the other hand is pretty hit or miss.  Stylistically, this is a competitive fight but McGregor should take it.
Should be a great fight!

If the diaz the fought michael johnson shows up i think its an easy win. really can't see a diaz brother  taking a dive either. this will be the first ppv i buy in 18 months b/c two of my favorite fighters are fighting. plus i think miesha will get a cut of the ppv if it hits a certain number. a small cut of it. maybe enough to buy 12 cupcakes.             + _ =
