I have a weird feeling Pettis's losing streak is about to continue. Great fight. Looks like Diaz has his sights firmly set on Eddie Alvarez.

Barboza isn't half the striker Pettis is, but if there was ever a time for Barboza to beat Pettis now would be it.

Once again another fight I will completely be rooting against Pettis, this has FOTY potential

Also I'm calling it now as a guess that this will headline the fightpass prelims.

Leave it to Pettis not being in the title picture for this fight to finally happen.

I am so happy and excited for this.

Barboza still has the fastest kicks that I have seen as of late, and against the creativity of Pettis, it should read Fight of the Night easily.

Barboza wants to stand up. Pettis' big weakness is the takedown. This fight stays standing and turns into a slugfest. Taking pettis with late finish via sub after knockdown.

I don't agree with everyone else I guess. It should be a fun fight but I think there's a decent chance it becomes a super technical, defense heavy, 1 shot at a time affair like Barboza vs Felder. Not that that wasn't a good fight i'm just not convinced this is going to be some great fight.I could very well see neither guy opening up much, and after 3 rounds, thinking both guys should have done more, and it going to a lackluster decision.

when i fighter losses two in a row(ufc fighters)they become desperate. they usually win too. the good fighters. glover had two in a row(losses)  and now has won three in a row. there are others. taking pettis in a strike fest. unless barbazo has been practicing some serious td's i don't think he can win. should be good fight.

I would say Barboza's best chance is to be aggressive against Pettis, I actually agree with the idea that this could easily be a point fight between them with the winning just eeking out a win. I have a feeling Pettis will counter-strike better than Barboza can get off consistent offense and will take a TKO or Decision.

Barboza via ballistic kick early. Pettis is very technical but he's a precision striker. He showed against Alvarez that he doesn't have that Rumble-esque 1 strike KO power.

Barboza has the kind of power that just blocking his kicks hurts. There's a reason Fergy started going for diving leg rolls.

Pettis wins if he gets it to the ground but I don't see how he does it.

Pettis has never been KOed, even when he was Dos Anjos' punching bag for five rounds. I don't know why you would expect Barboza to do it. Barboza has been rocked and dropped a lot more than Pettis actually. Not like Barboza is an incredibly hard guy to get down either. It isn't easy, but it's happened.

Screams FOTN to me, but I feel like Pettis has lost a step. Losing to RDA is one thing, because he's become a killer, but losing to Alvarez, in a fight where his offense was stifled... Pettis looked like he hardly wanted to be there.

Barboza by decision due to more activity in the stand up. Showtime won't get KOed but I feel like we'll see him bloody.
