So since Fedor's GOATness is based on taking a decision over Crocop and Big Nog and Schaub has KO'd Mirko and is fighting Nog in 10 days he will be the undisputed goat if he finishes Nog. Plus he's already beaten Gonzaga.

If Schaub gets taken down I agree it'll be bad for business, but I think he's gonna be too strong and able to stay on his feet early and eventually catch Big Nog

Nog will try to get in the clinch, dirty box and go for a trip takedown imo.  Schaub needs to keep a distance and pick him apart and catch him eventually.

Juggernog is all good and fine...Schaub was a Div 1 college football player he won't have a strength problem with anyone in the HW division

Cain and Mir are a lot better than Schaub and nog didn't have an advantage any where against Cain or Mir. he does against Schaub.

Nog has the BJJ advantage against Cain...thats the only advantage he'll have against Schaub too...probably pretty even against Mir

ah ya but Cain has the wrestling to avoid subs. I dont think Schaub is half as good on the ground. I think nog will take him down late in round 2 and make Schaub tap!

I don't remember seeing Schaub on the ground in a long time.  He better be training for it.

Earlier you guys were saying Schaub needs a win over a guy like Mir to be legit as well as dogging on Schaub for not beating any quality opponets. Mir's last 2 fights were against Cro Crap and Nelson. Nobody seems to be bothered by that and Mir is an established hw. No prospect which Schaub is will come right in and fight top 5 talent. I think the point is that Schaub has a very bright future.

I think Schaub should be able to keep standing against Big Nog but needs improvement to move up.  I think Mitrione would knock him out and he wouldn't have much luck against Frank Mir.  Maybe the UFC could sign Fedor for him but that would be risky.  Give him Struve or Travis Browne and see how he does.

noguiera is going to weigh in at 255 pounds. he will get the trip and submit the vastly over-rated schaub. i see a 2 fight losing streak coming up in the future for schaub. kinda like bader has had.

Schaub/Nog is probably my least confident pick on the card. I'm with @wolf, think Schaub is getting way to much credit.

I think after schaub beats nog he will be granted a number one contenders fight. And then proceed to get smashed in that fight. In this point of his career i dont think he stands a chance against  lesnar, carwin, mir, valasquez or JDS.

I would definitely pick Mir in a fight with Schaub, but think Schaub could get the upset KO...Same with Schaub vs Lesnar
