So it looks like Fedor came out of retirement to fight a 1-0 guy!

Seems like the Grand Prix is 100 kilos or less.I don't think Fedor isn't on the Grand Prix.It was previously said that Fedor will be the main event of the 31st event, opponent TBD. Per portaldovaletudo: "O “novo Pride” deve promover um torneio estilo Grand Pix que começaria dia 29 e terminaria dia 31 de dezembro para coroar um campeão até 100 quilos. Um representante brasileiro que sairá do Jungle Fight lutará nesse GP."→translated The new "Pride" should promote a tournament style Grand Prix start 29 and end December 31 to crown a champion up to 100 kilos. According to sherdog it is an eight man HW GP starting on Dec 29 and finishing on Dec 31. As far as the catchweight fight scheduled between Shinya Aoki and Kazushi Sakuraba. I have to wonder what does Sakakibara have on Sakuraba to coax him back into the ring. The guy is 46 and hasnt won a fight in over 7 years. Luckily Shinya Aoki isn't a power puncher so he won't do any concussive damage.  I also don't believe Fesor is part of the GP.

Looks like Rampage wants on this card too (he heard how much money's spent on it).

What I get from this video is he apparently found out he's got nothing in the Bellator suit (surprise, surprise) and is gonna lose and the UFC said, cool, we won't be another monkey on your back, so he's pretty sure he can fix it by just going back to Bellator (which may most likely be the case) - so basically he's got one breach of contract suit he's gonna lose, another one that he would lose had the UFC decided they want to get down with him and some other court case (where Bisping testified against him) in which I'm sure he's also innocent.

Now this is where it get's interesting, he wants on this card that he's trying to get his fans to reach out to Coker to "call off the dogs" and get him on this card.

This is perfect Rapmage style.

Rampage is a failure in Bellator, fails in the UFC and now wants to go somewhere else.

So Rampage wins the UFC title, wins all 3 of his fights for Bellator and he's a failure at both?

Failure since his comeback.  He was just there in both Bellator and then loses interest. It was like he was in the background.

Despite earlier reports, Jaideep Singh NOT being considered for Fedor fight right now. Opponent still in the works for New Year's Eve..

No clue if true but would be far from the first time Helwani goofed, surprised he even mentioned something outside of ZUFFA. Also possible it's just the promotion mad that the matchup got leaked and wanting to get some anticipation back.

I could maybe get excited for Fedor vs Pudzilla. More than any other option ive seen outside of UFC. Would KSW loan him out though?

Pudzilla said the other day he is ready for Fedor. Just a matter of if KSW is willing to loan him out.
There's plenty of good fights to be had if the promotions in the alliance (namely KSW and Bellator) are fully committed to it or if they can get M-1 to cooperate. Fedor vs Tybura, Minakov, Pudzilla, Lashley or even smaller guys like Puetz, King Mo, Phil Davis would be interesting fights as far as competitive, non-freakshows go. A few guys in other promotions like Ivanov (already built in storyline) as well. I don't think Fedor will fight Sergei (or Russians in general) but that would be good too.

Since KSW has been announced in a working relationship with Rizen, this fight, while unlikely, is not outside of the realm of possibility, though not any time soon. Of course I was just joking based on Pudzilla's comments that in such a fight he "wouldn't necessarily be at a disadvantage", since it immediately made me think "that's what Tim Sylvia said". And I really doubt Fedor would be willing to fight other Russians (or they him for that matter) and he's been pretty strict about that in the past, like avoiding fighting his buddy Barnett and even commenting that he's happy that fight never happened.

@joekerr But Pudzianowski's Polish.  How would that conflict with Fedor's "No Russian" policy for fights?
