This is the team thread for the BLC team known as The Kato Valets!

Our team roster comprises of the following members (as of so far, I think there is still one more round):

@GreenHornet553
@poir420
@jonnyboy6969
@FaceStomper
@legacyofmisfortune
@DrGlaze
@dtrain24
@bman518

This is my first season in BLC as a captain, so I'll do the best I can in leading this team.

As far as picking events; I'm not going to badger you guys about it, but do your best to try and pick most of the fights in the events as you can.  Furthermore, please try to pick the events as early as you can. I won't hound you guys about it, but I will send you guys a friendly reminder week to week for the events.   Obviously there will be times that things come up in your personal life (work, out sick,, etc.) that will interfere with you picking the fights events.  Just do the best you can. That's all I can ask for.

With the new Berserker rule that is in place this season, I figured of possibly doing a rotational thing.  If you guys want to do something different than that, I am open to ideas.  However, due to time constraints, I had to put my name forwards as Berserker for week 1; due to the lack of a plan, as well as not putting one of your names forward without asking first.  So for any of you that wanted to be berserker in Week 1, I apologize but I just didn't have enough time for input.

As for our team logo,  I have no skills with things like Photoshop.  So if you guys want to contribute a logo, I'm open to submissions. If not, I'll just make it simple for us and get a jpeg off Google Images of Bruce Lee dressed as Kato.

I hope this will be a fun season for us all. Can't wait to play this new season of BLC with you guys.

So, with all that being said; any thoughts?

A few of the valets wished me luck on my profile, even though I think it was a veiled plea to not be anally annihilated I will wish you all good luck in return. There shall be no mercy though.

"right now a german hefeweizen that I brew myself"
Why?

German beer all taste simular with that German purity law **** from what i understand. It's great for solid enough to drink tailgate kinda **** but not worth home brewing.   Your basically aiming for mid grade instead of heady dank brew.

I mean I'll drink it but would never try to brew it.

I been drinking Bells Two Hearted and Fire Stine Walker Wookie Jack.

I brewed it for my wife, because she wanted a light beer for summer, but I enjoy it too. To me german beers don't taste the same at all, in fact if you try a Salvator and a hefeweizen both from Paulaner brewery you will change your mind.

I like to brew different stuff all the time, this sunday I'll brew  damn fine IPA and next in line its a belgian pale ale.

I guess you like very hopped beers, those are not my favorites, I enjoy them alright but one or two beers, I like better the dark stuff

Nice man.  Props to you

I know i say **** in an arrogant bastard manner but only meam it 70% or so of the time.

I got some friends and fam who brew their own beer snd whine.  Many of us are lifers in hospitality business and can be arrogajnt ****s about food, drink and nugget.

Though I waas tallking ****, Ive actually been tryiong to play down my hoppy IPA taste as of late.

A good friend has been getting me into some German brew and I hate to admit even some of their cheaper brew is much more drinkable tahn expected.

the ole lady will have my head if i keep bringing home 50+% cases of beer that still only last 2-3 days.... :(

Youre right though man...i do like them dank, dark and hoppy..

Im trying to go a tad lighter but still enjoyable

Cheers

I don't mind your ways man.  I get you, good beer is not cheap and it goes way too fast I go beer shopping spend 30$ and come out with 5-6 beers, although lately I been buying growlers from local breweries and it cost me around 10dlls for half a gallon of good to great beer.

if you like tasty beer but want to go lighter, try the Salvator I told you about it's a dopple bock 7.9% it has  a nice kick and its tasty but drinkable and not expensive. this one is good too if you like aged beers, but this one is not too strong.

cheers man

Damn, hammered last night.  haha.

Yea, Ill check them out.  Growlers are the way to go.  Got a few nice beer gardens out this way too.  30$ 6rs are too easy to put together.  Im just trying to cut some spending on beer.  Fact is though, 30$ 6r easily beats what Id spend at the bar.

Sorry about my sub-par performance last week guys. Hoping I can have a bounceback and help the team out more this week.

Also, I'd like to recommend Jonnyboy or DrGlaze for berserker this week, they seem to have some momentum from this past week.
