I love the fight but I think Ferguson needs a top 10 opponent.

This is a really badass fight. Sure, Ferguson might deserve a better opponent rank-wise. But this is gonna be awesome.

Medeiros got this. I liked Ferguson vs Rashid or Khabilov more though.

This is going to be fireworks. Ferguson should be fighting a top 15 fighter. However this fight is probably the odds on favorite to be FOTN.

Prediction: Ferguson  |  Submission  |  Round 2

Yeah, this fight is super close if it stays on the feet. I guess Ferguson is the favorite because of the advantage he will probably have on the ground. And I agree with the overall assessment that Ferguson is the better grappler, especially on the ground.

I have a feeling this is Yancy's breakout fight.

I think Ferguson is a bit too reckless at times, a fact he makes up for on account of him usually enjoying a technique and reach advantage. He doesn't have either in this fight.

I'm not even that sure about him enjoying an advantage if this hits the mat either. Yes, he has the submission wins and is good on the ground, but he also loses position A LOT because he goes for **** before being set, basically as reckless as he is on the feet.

I believe Yancy is technical enough in both areas to capitalize on that and has a speed advantage standing.

Also, there's that Hawai'i toughness as the x-factor.
