Yves edwards is turning 35 years old tomorrow I just don't think he is the fighter people think he is.. I am pretty confident in Saying either Oliveria will win by submission or he will with a unanimous decision

Yves is winning this fight. after reviewing both fighters in their last 3 fights. Oliveira's stand up is horrible, he's super slow and throws single punches and single low kicks, rarely does he hit combos. Yves Edward's will have the stand up advantage by large margins and not to mention a speed advantage. I even give Yves advantage on the ground too. Yves takedown defense percentage is 70% out of his 18 fights in the UFC to Oliveira's 40% Takedown success rate, Wanna guess oliveiras TDD %??? it's 11%...to Yves 65% Takedown success rate. What good has Oliveira done??? He's looked absolutely horrible in every single one of his fights. Yes Yves got knocked out by Stout, but Oliveira's stand up is lightyears away from Stouts. I think UFC is throwing Yves a bone here. Who do you think UFC wants to keep in the organization??? lets think why this matchup is made. Yves by SUB

they both have decision wins vs gunderson. i'll take the younger fighter. i don't see the ufc throwing "bones" to 35 year old guys. plus a loss to tibau by second round sub is not that bad considering tibau is the biggest lightweight there is. edwards got brutally ko'd by stout and even though stout's nickname is hands of stone i think he only has two wins in the ufc by knockouts. i see a decision and it could go either way.
