Bellator making more changes with format

Can't say I completely hate it, and I understand why they are doing it, (probably hard to get former tournament winners to do another one), but it definitely is yet another big change they've made.  Just another step till they eliminate the tournament altogether???  

I dont mind this move.

It does make the tourney less important, but it also could create tourney winner vs tourney winner which could be good.

Sometimes a champ gets hurt, then there is a backlog of tourney winners sitting idle.

Getting a shot at the champ is now a 2 step process, which make the challenger that more deserving of a title shot.

It looks like Eddie Alvarez vs Chandler III is the next LW title fight for Bellator. While Will Brooks unfortunately will not get a chance to unify the interim and real title.  Which would appear why this rule was instituted.

That's really dumb. I understand why this rule is put in place, but it's pretty obvious that they did it to make Alvarez/Chandler 3 happen. It's the fight everyone wants to see and all that, but it's not really fair to do it this way.

Funny how when the Tito/Schlemenko fight was announced barely anyone was giving Tito a chance. Now that he won, people just want to **** on him.

They need to be able to use their most popular fighters in order to survive.

Now do people realize why i give bellator so much ****. Even a blind person can see how ******* pathetic they are. How many matches are made not to entertain but to give the the guys they want an easy win. If i was brooks, id slap rebney with the belt, throw it on the floor and take a **** on it. Then tell him to give me my walking papers. After the chandler win im sure the ufc would sign a kid like brooks. And if not ufc, then definently wsof. I dont even want to see chandler and alvarez fight, cause chandler hasnt earned the right to fight someone like eddie. He needs to go get quality wins and work his way back up. But of course ill be called a hater and get 100 thumbs down cause people dont care. But if you knew these fighters and what they go through day in and day out, you would have a completely different view of how bellator acts, how shady they really are, and the effects it has on fighters...you know, the guys that bleed to entertain you THE FANS

Just drop the tourney format if they're going to do this crap

I'm seeing rumors on twitter that Kimbo Slice has signed with Bellator.  

Gawd I hope this is true.  

At 40 he's only getting better with age as he enters his prime.
