Davis is a highly skilled grappler. The problem is Ronda is significantly better than "highly skilled". I think Davis gets out of the first round, maybe makes it to the 3rd if she's lucky. But that's about it.

In the grappling department, there's highly skilled and then there's Ronda. Totally different level. The fact that she's leaps and bound better than any other woman in every aspect of grappling isn't because there aren't good grapplers, she's just something special. And I don't even like her, but I can't ignore what I see.

Just keep lining them up, Zingano & Davis are probably the next two and neither of them really stand a chance in my eyes. Cat was bullied and taken down by Meisha for two full rounds before she had her comeback KO, and yeah she was active on the ground and was able to stand up, but if she had some minor troubles with Meisha that means Ronda will crush her. I'm not sure what to think of Alexis Davis, other than she may be the Uriah Faber of the Womens BW division.

Davis is from a town that borders mine, I hope she has a good showing and can help increase local interest in MMA. No one else from my region is in any big fight organizations. Unfortunately I haven't read a single newspaper article talking about this fight.

I full heartily believe Rousey is going to run her right over, Davis isn't the girl to go the distance with Rousey, let alone defeat her.

The odds for this fight are a bit silly, no? Rousey is a 20-1 favorite. Cormier was a 12-1 against a ******* barista on like.. 1 weeks notice. Davis is a quality opponent. Tough as nails and has had a full training camp to prepare, The odds are ridiculous in comparison to some of the more recent mismatches.

Ronda shouldn't have too many problems here. I think Davis can keep it standing for a little bit, but at some point she will succumb to the relentless pressure from Ronda and it will end shortly after that.

A few years ago I predicted Cat Zingano would be the one to beat Ronda because Cat is a sick grappler with very good stand up. With her missing so much time and the injuries and the family issues I don't know how well she will do.

Davis has some nice jitz, but Ronda is just bigger, and stronger then her. Add that with a lifetime of judo.......Davis doesnt make it out of the 1st round.
