HEY.
Don't disrespect the grappling of the Roy. Roy Nelson's jiujitsu is top 5 in the heavyweight division, there's no doubt about that. He's said before that knocking people out is a lot less work than jiu-jitsu, which is why he almost exclusively strikes now.
But don't get me wrong, Nelson's jiujitsu is still at a ridiculously elite level. There's no way he's going to submit Hunt though, he's gonna try to knock Hunt's head off.

I thought the idea was to make Overeem vs Hunt II to headline the Germany card..oh well

Overeem vs Hunt 2 would be amazing to watch, but I doubt it would headline a Germany card. Would be more suitable for a Japan card seeming both fighters were in PRIDE FC.

Gegard is a Dutchman from Armenia headlining a German card, why not a black dutch guy who's more well known than Gegard. I bet Overeem would be a better headliner than Gegard in Germany, imo. Depends on the match-up though, Munoz vs Gegard is just weak for a main event.

Overeem would obviously be a better headliner regardless of the location but what I'm saying is a match up of that great caliber (Overeem/Hunt) would be better off somewhere else. Also I thought Mousasi was Iranian. Don't really know the history behind him.

I think Roy could sub him but I'm not sure he can get Mark down, his TDD has gotten so much better

If anyone can knock out Nelson it would be Hunt. However I am thinking Nelson can either land the big shot or perhaps even utilize his ground game. He hasn't done it in a while for a fight but Hunt has struggled on the ground a little bit in the past.

pretty good fight i can see nelson knocking mark hunt out but at the same time i can see nelson being knocked out by hunt . could be a exciting fight but i can see it being abit luckluster and maybe going to the judges . if its 5 rounds there could be a knockout . hope its on the cain card but seems abit long for this fight to happen

Well I ran the numbers, and between both Mark Hunto and Roy Nelson, they both accumulated $624,000.00 in post fight bonuses. Not that bad of a draw for both of these fighters. I assume there will be more added after this fight.
