the most i have seen is 4 years but how many years was it when matt hughes faced royce gracie in the octagon? gracie had not been in the octagon i will say for 11 years?  could have been fighting in brazil though.

i dont know about in the ufc but for Pride its Kimo Leopoldo he took 2085 days before his 2nd pride fight.
