I like both Hendo and DC, a lot. But I don't like this fight at all. Makes me nervous for Dan. I guess it is a step up from Calvacante for DC, and Hendo wants to stay active.

Shogun didn't look amazing, he looked good in comparison to what we've seen of him in the last couple of years, but far, FAR from amazing.
2005 Shogun was amazing and 2009 Shogun was second best Shogun ever. This Shogun (5.0) is not near as good as he once was. He played it well and was winning the fight, but he looked slow, he kept his hands low low for most of the fight and he looked like he was starting to gas.
Shogun is one of my favorite fighters of all time and I don't like Hendo at all, watching that fight hurt, but it is what it is.

I guess Hendo's got nothing to lose though, it's now or never for him ... again.

EDIT: If you think about it, Dan Henderson's entire striking game are the H-Bomb, the set-ups for the H-Bomb and ****** up head thickness DNA.

Can someone kindly explain something to me:
Lil Nog beats Rashad, Hendo loses to Rashad - and Lil Nog gets passed over in favor of Hendo?
And it's not because Lil Nog isn't ready to fight again; two weeks ago, the UFC reportedly offered Rich Franklin a Lil Nog fight, but Rich turned it down because he's too busy starting up this supplement business.

He's been scheduled for at least two fights since his win over Rashad and got injured in camp, I wouldn't waste the money to print the posters right now.

By the way, why didn't you mention Phil Davis? Phil is the one actually getting screwed here, not Lil' Nog.
