Tarec pulled out today so Ellenberger has been moved to 173 to face Robbie Lawler. Should be an awesome fight!
WAR LAWLER!!

Sick fight but at the same time I'm a fan of both guys so this fight sucks. don't want to see either lose.

Though I've been wanting to see Ellenberger Vs Hendricks for awhile now and this will get him closer.

Nighty night Jake. He's gonna **** himself when he hits Lawler as hard as he can and Lawler smiles at him and pushes forward.

If Ellenberger hits Lawler as hard as he can, Ruthless won't be able smile for a couple of weeks and vice versa.

Interesting fight. Lawler has found himself and Ellenberger is a mental midget with a pea sized head. Lawler can't take Jake as lightly as he did Johny ( I know, it sounds crazy) Ellenberger is quicker and more explosive, he can beat Lawler to the punch or counter him but Ellenberger anticipates his own fatigue in fights and doesn't have Johnys jaw. Both guys have good takedown games but use them defensively or strategically but don't really pass, look for subs or control you while landing big shots so I think this fight stays standing mostly. Jake is better on the outside closing distance and in the clinch but if Lawler can keep the fight at midrange it should be his.

I see this fight going the way Lawler VS Hendricks did. Back and forth, with Lawler coming up just a tad short in the end.

This sucks! I mean, great fight and I'm really happy Robbie's getting right in there, but this was going to be the fight to push Tarec into contention talks ...

Robbie's going to kill Ellenberger. Ellenberger's the Jim Miller/Ryan Bader of the WW division. gatekeeper to title contention. He'll never beat the real contenders.

Instead of pushing Tarec into contention status, this will push Jake there, if he wins.  Jake should be pretty happy with this development.  Just the escalator he was looking for to ride to the top.

If Jake survives the first, he will gas and get KO'd in the 2nd.

Love this fight though, either guy who finish this in the 1st round. I think Lawler is superior.

It wouldn't surprise me if the winner of this fight asks for the winner of MacDonald vs. Woodley.

Would make sense, if there's time.
