he is justified, he isn't willing to fight his friend and that doesn't coincide with dana's god complex...so he just gets screwed. its a shame, he is the 2nd best ww in the world

I see where Fitch is coming from. Especially with the comments about Diaz. Fitch is in the UFC beating way better fighters then Diaz is and Diaz talks ****? If you don't like how Fitch fights that's fine nobody says you have to watch him fight. He is at times literally laying on a guy not trying anything but a lot of the time like the 3rd round of Fitch/Penn he does do a lot and work for better position. Regardless of how he fights or how "boring" some people think he is he's still in the top 3 ww's in the world right now and he deserves to fight a quality opponet.

While I agree that winning is winning, when the owner of the organization you fight for doesn't see it that way and you continue to fight boring fights against his (clearly stated) preference, you can't blame anybody but yourself when you pull the crappy cards.  Just sayin'.

he would completely control nick diaz for 3 rounds,(almost as easily as gsp will) he is dead on about diaz, he hasn't fought any wrestlers in a long time....thats not by accident, its not an accident that after he beat daley, the next best ww in strikeforce was tyrone woodley and he wanted no part of that fight. because theres a good chance he loses that fight, and most ppl don't even know who woodley is....diaz gettin beat by woodley would have cost him a **** load of money

Come on now krazyhopz don't go speaking the truth about Diaz. His posse will be pissed. One thing I've learned about tapology is don't speak the truth when it comes to Diaz or A. Silva. People get upset :)

I guess Woodley is a high risk, low reward fight while GSP is a mid-risk, high reward fight. Plus people do want to see Diaz vs GSP so I can't blame DIaz for ducking that fight (if that is the case).

as RWL kind of pointed out, Fitch is in a position where he needs to be more agressive as MMA and Boxing will usually value entertaining fighters over deserving fighters.

Why people gonna get mad when the truth is A. Silva is awesome ;)

@ninja I've never ever argued that Anderson isn't awesome :-) Fitch would easily beat Diaz. I doubt Joe Silva and Dana will protect Diaz from wrestlers like strikeforce did. Strikeforce didn't have much going on so they wanted Diaz to keep winning cuz he's a name. In the UFC Diaz will get exposed for what he is which is a middle of the road ww who will win some but never beat a top guy.

fitch can't have it both ways. he won't change his style but he wants more high profile fighters. the other fighters are in a no win situation. they will probably lose and it will be a snoozefest and they might get blamed for some of it and be on the verge of being released. fitch can't see it form the other fighters point of view. you know who i want to see fight fitch. anthony "rumble" johnson. i think johnson has gotten better since the kos fight. i would love to see rumble just blitz fitch with a head kick and facial strikes and knock  his azz out.
