I'm a pretty hardcore football fan and since there's a thread for other sports, but not one for football, I thought I'd start one for us to discuss possibly the greatest sport in the world.
If there is one, then forgive me since I haven't seen one.
Feel free to post about any football league from across the world, any major or minor tournaments from across the world or about any transfer window rumors and news.
I know there's various football fans on here, so let the discussion begin.
I'm personally a fan of the sport in general and usually just root for the Spain NT and German NT and I usually watch La Liga mostly and Bundesliga and EPL in smaller dosis and occasionally will watch some Serie A or Ligue 1.
I'm a pretty big fan of Barcelona and have been watching out Bayern Munich since Pep Guardiola left Barça to join them.

I started watching and following soccer extensively when the US made their run to the final at the Confederations Cup in 2009.
I wish I watched Bundesliga matches. But I find it hard to watch any sport when the teams are from places that I don't have a reason support. In MMA I tend to root for American fighters and moreover fighters from California.
Excited to go to Tijuana to watch the Galaxy in Mexico; in my first away Champions' League match for the Galaxy. We've made some great acquisitions this off season, so I think great things can happen to this club this year. Including qualifying for the FCWC in December.

Even tough the result wasnt good, i liked Mata a lot.
Manchester's attack seemed energetic, kinda like when we had Tevez and Rooney playing together (before the whole Berbatov disaster).
Fun fact: i have the Manchester United emblem tatooed on my right shoulder.

I'm watching the Copa del Rey match between Atletico and Real and Real secured their spot in the CdR finals in the first half scoring 2 goals in under 20 minutes giving them a 5-0 agg. goal lead.
Also Javi Manquillo took a nasty fall when CR7 jumped over him challenging for a header. Landed head first on the pitch and I thought he was going to get stretchered out with a broken neck, but he was able to get up on his own 2 and walk off.
The other CdR semifinal is tomorrow between Barça and Sociedad at the Anoeta with Barça entering with a 2-0 agg. goal lead so with a draw or a 1-0 loss we should get another Clásico between Barça and Real in April.
